I was born in London, brought my family up in Hampshire, and now I live in Cornwall. I used to be an occupational therapist, specialising initially in mental health and later in palliative care. I graduated from the University of Plymouth with an MA in Creative Writing and now write fulltime. As Padraig O’Tuauma put it, my aim is to ‘build a life around words’.

I have had work published in INK, Merry Christmas Everybody, Plymouth Art Vending Machine, The Jesse Tree Anthology, Harpy Hybrid Review, Inkfish magazine, Vernacular journal, Paper Swans Press Instagram Poetry Advent Calendar, and Theatrabilia’s ‘Something to Say’ exhibition. I perform at local poetry nights and am a founder and the chair of the annual Looe Festival of Words now.
